On the last day of our trip to Sequoia National Park, after seeing Boyden Cavern, we went to Grizzly Falls Picnic Area. Grizzly Falls is a 0.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a waterfall and after vising Grizzly Falls we made a stop at the Roaring River Falls, both the trails are good for all people with all skill levels. After driving further for another 7.2 Miles, you should make a stop to visit Roaring River Falls. Roaring River Falls Trail is a 0.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Cedar Grove, California that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from May until September. Next stop to make after seeing Roaring River falls would be Zumwalt Meadow Trail, you can also take the hike from Roaring River Falls which would be around 2 mile hike or you can choose to make a stop at Zumwalt Meadow picnic area, there are parking spots and also some picnic tables where you can hangout with your family. Its one among the nice where you can get into Kings Canyon shallow river to play. Zumwalt Meadow Trail is a 1.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Sequoia National Park, California that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running and is best used from April until September. Its one of the park's most iconic, scenic meadows. Explore its trail that begins near the Kings River, crosses a riparian corridor, and then climbs gently along a rocky hillside. From here, as you hike through a talus slope, you will catch glimpses of the meadow below. Meadows often attract bears and other animals such as yellow-bellied marmots, deer, birds of prey, and snakes; watch for them all here. Trail guide brochures are available for purchase at Cedar Grove Visitor Center. Info: Its National Park Fee, better suggestion to buy America The Beautiful Annual Pass, as it will cover for all National Parks and National Forest Areas. Restrooms are available in Zumwalt meadow which is around 1 Mile from Roaring River Falls, however there are few picnic tables. Dogs are welcome and no permit is required to visit the waterfall or the picnic area.
