Week 98 on Mounjaro for Type 2 Diabetes: I've Lost That Hunger Feeling I started Week 98 of Mounjaro and week 38 at the 7.5 mg dose on Thursday. Thank you! Before reviewing this week's update, I cannot say "thank you" enough for all of you being here and following this journey. I hope each of you are having success and celebrating each achievement. I genuinely appreciate you, your support, and your input and feedback. Each day I am still amazed with Mounjaro. Since beginning this journey, I've lost more than 60 lbs., lowered my A1C, and my non-alcoholic fatty liver disease has been reversed. Here's this week's summary: Weight I lost 1lb. so I'm 135 lbs. this week. I'm 5'4" Exercise I've been on vacation so lots of walking. Glucose Nothing to report. A1C My A1C is now 5.6 (as of Feb. 2, 2024), which is up from 5.4. Still, it's considered normal. In March 2023 it was 6.1, in May 2022 it was 8.2. I still take 1,000 mg of Metformin twice a day. Nutrition I'm being mindful, but was on vacation! However, food just didn't taste appealing, specifically BBQ in Tennessee and Alabama. I've noticed over the past couple of months, I'm no longer hungry the day or two before injection day, like I was in the past. Is my body adapting to Mounjaro? Has my stomach shrunk?
