Maintaining good amount of carbohydrate in diabetic diet is very important. Most of the people diabetic patients will concentrate on how to reduce sugar level in bloods through sweets and they concentrate only on the sugar. It is very important for the diabetic patients to concentrate on the carbs that is Carbohydrate present in the rice as well as the potatoes. Balanced diet should be there of carbohydrates, fats and fibre content. One cup of Rice contains 53 grams of Carbohydrate which is equivalent to 3 to 4 slices of bread, so always better to take wheat instead of rice. Less of rice and more of wheat is a balanced diet for diabetic. Wheat is very rich in vitamin B1, vitamin B2 & vitamin B3,folic acid, calcium and full of fibre.. Wheat is good because the magnesium content in it try to reduce insulin level in the blood that is why wheat is very important part of diet for diabetic patient.
