White Bread using the Bread Machine | White Bread Recipe for Bread Machine

This is my favorite white bread recipe. What makes it extra yummy is that I only make the dough in the bread machine and then bake it in the oven. Ingredients: 1 1/4 cups milk (lukewarm) 2 Tbsp. shortening 1 Tbsp sugar 1 tsp. salt 3 1/3 cups flour (all-purpose or bread flour) 3/4 tsp. yeast Add to bread machine pan according to manufacturer's instructions. Set machine to dough setting. When dough setting is complete, shape as desired, let rise until doubled and bake. Cool before cutting.
