The mansion isn’t just a neighboring home to the famed Dakota Johnson from the 50 shades of Grey movies it’s actually a home that has housed a few famous names of its own. Dating back to as early as 2016 this mansion was home for Famous actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt and later was sold to reality TV star and supermodel Kendall Jenner. However there is not currently any Hollywood royalty living inside this $7 million dollar mansion! Regardless for the safety and privacy of Dakota Johnson we will not be releasing the address or specific location of the home. We ask that you do not share the address or visit the home at any time! The $7 million dollar home neighboring Dakota Johnson is set on 0.36 acres of land with a beautiful backyard entertainment space. Being set on such a small lot of land on the side of the hills in Los Angeles you have to be creative as an architect with the space given. This home was able to maximize the space and still be able to add a small pool for the hot summer days. The home was built in 1958 and has seen many renovations over the years bringing it to the home you see today. The home was most recently sold by Kylie Jenner in 2017 for $6,850,000 to its current owner. The home has a current tax value of $6,987,000 which in turn will cost the owner $82,640 per year in property taxes. As well we can assume that home owners insurance will be roughly $30,000 per year. So don’t think that the cost of ownership stops at the $7,000,000 price tag. The home is 6 bedroom and 5 bathroom with roughly 4,800 square feet of living space breaking down to about $1,458 per square foot. Diving in through the front door you are immediately met with the main living area with pocket sliding doors allowing for an amazing indoor outdoor experience. Taking a couple steps outside into the backyard you are greeted by a nice inground pool with plenty of patio space for relaxation. The backyard is situated against a hill so the privacy is great and it almost feels like a small oasis. There’s an outdoor kitchen to the side of the yard and a small patio that loops to the side of the home. Coming in through the side doors you enter into the dining room which is outfitted with a two sided brick fireplace that extends into the main living area. Inside the dining room there is a small wet bar to serve up some drinks for your guests. Just off the dining room is the first bedroom which is the only bedroom on the first floor so I could see it being turned into an office. On the opposite side of the home is the kitchen which I absolutely love. It comes with beautiful white cabinets with a marble counter top and back splash with a large contrast center island made of hardwood. The large chef style stove is sure to the trick for any home cooked meals you desire. Just off the kitchen is another sitting area that could be considered the living room. Taking a couple steps up stairs you greeted with the master bedroom which has a beautiful view of downtown Los Angeles. Since the home is sort of restricted on size the master isn’t overly massive but it still has enough room for a small sitting area. Just off the master is the master bathroom and large walk in closet which has enough space for all of her clothes and some space for his. In the master bathroom there is a free standing porcelain soaking tub with views of the city. The bathroom also comes with his and hers vanities and a rainfall walk in shower with enough space for two. There is also a small balcony just off the bathroom for some privacy away from the rest of the home. Remaining on the second floor there is additional three bedrooms all with their own on suite bathrooms as well as the laundry room is located on this level. Going up the last set of stairs brings you to the third floor where the last remaining bedroom is located. I’m surprised this is not where the master bedroom is located but none the less whoever gets this room will surely have the best view in the home. Across the hall from the top floor bedroom is an additional room that could be used for a small home gym or an office space. Then taking a couple steps down the hall you are brought to a sliding glass door that brings you to the roof top deck. The stunning roof top deck provides 360 degree views of downtown LA and of the neighboring mansions hanging off the hillsides surrounding the home. This is surely where I would spend the vast majority of my time soaking up some sun and enjoying the spacious deck, it would be a nice place to add a gas fireplace and enjoy some summer nights. But that’s pretty much where our tour of this $7 million dollar home comes to a wrap.
