Ancient Delphi and the Best Restaurant of our Greek vacation!

In this 4k travel guide, we stay in Arachova, Greece to visit the ruins of Ancient Delphi, see the Temple of Apollo, and possibly consult the Oracle. We also have THE best restaurant experience of our entire stay in Greece! We start the day by heading north from Olympia to Delphi, leaving the Peloponnese behind for the first time since we arrived in Greece. We arrive at Ancient Delphi in the late morning of a very hot summer day. There were more tour groups at Delphi than other ancient Greek ruins than we've been to on this trip, but most of them left after the first hour. We see Apollo's Temple at Delphi, the Forum, the center of the earth, and Delphi's stadium (so impressive!). After lunch, we make a quick stop into the airconditioned archaeological museum. Don't miss our comparison of several of the well-known ancient Greek sites! If you can only choose one Greek ruin to visit, you'll want to hear which is best, between Epidaurus, Messene, Olympia, and Delphi. We share some of the history of Retsina wine (we had no clue what we had bought at Lidl! - but it turns out there's a history!), and visit the incredibly scenic town of Arachova. Arachova also happens to be where we had the single best meal of our entire Greek vacation - at a very highly recommended restaurant.
