For the first time during their 2024 World Tour, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performed “Twist and Shout” at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Song #28 of the night, this was a sign request. "Twist and Shout" was written by Phil Medley and Bert Berns in 1961. It was originally recorded by The Top Notes, and then covered by The Isley Brothers in 1962, and The Beatles in 1963. This concert in Phoenix was my 42nd time seeing Bruce Springsteen perform and my 34th time seeing The E Street Band perform.
