Proper Assets Management in Website | Manage Files & Folders in HTML Project Properly

This assets management guide is for static HTML websites. For other frontend/backend framewroks like ReactJS, AngularJS, WordPress or Laravel, we may follow different approach for assets management. But if you get a good idea and general perspective here, you should be able grasp idea of a good assets management for any other web development project in general. Assets management is a way of organizing files and folders in your web development projects. Where to keep JavaScript files? Where to keep CSS files? Where to keep vendors files? Where to keep images and icons? Where to keep fonts? How to manage paths for fonts and images? How to best organize web development projects for re-usability and ease of access. If you follow few best practices to manage web development projects, use good naming conventions for files and folders and separate files by their type - you will find it pleasing to work with that project. It will be easy to share with others co-workers and colleagues and you will make your life easier as a web developer.
