XLOOKUP Explained: Error handling, XLOOKUP with wild card and two-way XLOOKUP

#algrowchallenge #xlookup #lookup #exceltutorial #excel #exceltricks #excelformula #excelforbegginers #excelformulas #advancedexcel #advancedexceltraining #giveaway #giveaways In this video I will cover following examples of XLOOKUP: Error Handling - If the VLOOKUP function returns #NA, it is most likely because the item you are looking for does not exist in the lookup table. Wrapping the VLOOKUP function inside IFNA or IFERROR functions is the solution. However, with XLOOKUP, you no longer need to do so. Simply use the 4th argument of the XLOOKUP [If not found] optional argument to specify the value to return if the value does not exist on the lookup array. XLOOKUP with wildcard: There may be times when you need to search for a partial match. In this case, you can combine wildcard characters like asterisk or question mark with the 5th argument of XLOOKUP, which is the optional [match mode] argument. Two-way XLOOKUP: To look up a value on both the rows and columns, we can use XLOOKUP inside another XLOOKUP. The advantage is that we only need to be familiar with one function rather than combining multiple Excel lookup functions.
