He’s been collecting and DJing vinyl since he was 11 and started Rook Records in 2016. The shop itself is based in Hackney Wick where they keep the racks stocked with rarities, as well as host a YouTube radio channel from the warehouse. In terms of music, the specialism is African and Latin sounds, but the shop is also stocked with the finest in soul, jazz, reggae, hip hop and disco gems.
