Instructions: Insert your ENET cable (It's right under the steering wheel). Now you need to put the car in diagnostic mode. This is done by pressing the start/stop button three (3) times in rapid succession. (Don't put you foot on the brake or start the engine!) After that connect your iPhone or iPad via USB to Ethernet converter to ENET cable and wait to get DHCP IP address. The three modules Lane change assists requires 3 separate modules to function. The HeadUnit needs to show the options/interface, the BODY3_module will recognize and tell the unit that its available and the SAS_module that will be responsible for the actual lane changing. HeadUnit (HU_MGU) Open the module tab and go to expert mode, in the search bar type spurwechselassistent. Select the option and change the value from nicht_aktiv to gen_1. Press code. BDC_Body3 This one requires a bit more button pressing, when navigating to the module we need to select CAFD-00007083-... and go to expert mode. This will show us all the options available for this module, here we select PFSarahMaster - Spurwechsel_Assisten and change it to active. Press code. SAS3 In BimmerUtility the default view of the module already shows us a quick way to activate Lane Change Assistant (spurwechselassisten), just select it and change the value from Off to On and press code. The module will restart and will be active. After this we can disconnect the application and the cable from the car. Then restart the car and ignore the temporary error notifications about the indicator light or daytime lights. These will disappear within 5 minutes, no worries its just the diagnoses.
