It’s every parent’s worst nightmare - when Kate’s baby Mary was just one month old, she noticed symptoms which prompted a hospital visit and before she knew it Mary was on life support with acute liver failure. Doctors told the family that finding a suitable donor was highly unlikely and to prepare for the worst. However, Holly (39) came across Kate’s Facebook posts which had been widely shared and came forward to help in an unbelievable act of kindness by a stranger. Today we’re meeting Kate, Holly and baby Mary who has just celebrated her first birthday to hear their story.
