Check out this interesting threat display by a White-breasted Nuthatch at the Cornell Feeders as it makes snake-like movements while fanning out its wings and tail. The Cornell Lab's Dr. Kevin McGowan shared that he often sees White-breasted Nuthatches use this threatening display towards other species at his feeders, stating "They’re clearly showing all their flashy bits in an aggressive fashion ... This FeederWatch cam is located in the Treman Bird Feeding Garden at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Ithaca, New York.
