The GTA real estate market in April 2024 was slower than it was in April 2020, the first full month of the global pandemic... sort of. No matter how you slice it, home sales for this time of year fell way short of where they normally sit. This lack of transacting also led to an explosion in Toronto condo inventory. Is a new record in sight? In this video, I take a look at how many real estate sales occurred in April 2024 in the Greater Toronto Area and compare that to previous Aprils. We will compare how activity is trending to a normal year and examine what is happening with condo inventory in the city!
