Astro Essentials M48 Camera Adapter / T ring not locking in camera body / lens mount

M48 to Sony Alpha / A mount variant (i.e. Minolta AF) spins within Camera Lens Mount. Appears to be missing the ‘stop’ which is implemented on other adapters, lenses and camera body lens mount cap. This allows the M48 adapter to rotate further within the camera than it should, with nothing preventing it from falling out. If turned beyond about 30 degrees the only way to remove from camera is continue turning until 360 degrees lines up the mount hole again. Obviously the camera can swivel, isn’t tight to the telescope which will produce poor image and, worse, the camera can fall off the telescope entirely. Without a 'stop', there's insufficient friction to cope with the weight of a DSLR and, as the adapepter turned within the lens mount, it stripped a bit of aluminium sward off itself, which I caught before it dropped into the camera. This was after just one insertion (10 seconds) to realise that it wasn;t going to be sufficiently secure. This video shows an original Minolta / Sony A mount T2 Adapter with stop (pin), plus the Astro Essentials (no stop) and the Sony body cap (plastic stop).
