Prototype Egg Incubator with Fully Automatic Egg Turning

Egg incubator is a machine which is used to hatch the fertile eggs successfully at a controlled environmental conditions by regulating the temperature and humidity of the container. Nowadays, incubators that are used in poultry industry are expensive and their maintenance also high. The aim of our project is to design a cost efficient egg incubator for the poultry industry. In here, we used micro-controllers instead of expensive hardware applications. DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor to measure the temperature and the humidity inside the incubator, 25W filament bulb for the heat generation, our special servo motor powered egg turning tray to turn the eggs 4 times per day and all the components in the system are controlled by the Arduino UNO board. By this cost efficient automated egg incubator, we can successfully hatch the eggs in 21 days. We can reduce the production cost by utilizing the cost efficient egg incubators.
