During a stage event for the Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san movie, Takahashi Rie (Takagi-san), Kaji Yuki (Nishikata) and Ohara Yuiko (OP theme artist) receive messages from the author, Yamamoto Soichirou. Hearing the message moves Takahashi Rie to tears. Have you guys seen the movie yet? I had the pleasure of seeing it twice: once at Anime Expo in July, and again in the middle of August in theaters. It was a surprise to see the director, Akagi Hiroaki, come to the stage right before the movie premiere at Anime Expo. He gave some interesting insights about the direction he took with the movie, and some of the Western cartoon influences he applied. Fansubbed by me, LEGOF.
