In this video I show you the ingredients of my own Homemade Groundbait and how to mix it. I have been using this exact mix for the past few years and it has worked really well for all my pleasure and match fishing. I use Turmeric as my additive for flavouring the mix because I am mostly fishing for Carp. Turmeric also has the added benefit of turning the groundbait to a nice light brown colour, which fits in really well in waters with a relatively light coloured sandy bottom. If you want to change the additives and flavours of this mix, please feel free to experiment, but the base mix of breadcrumbs and ground chicken layer pellets should probably stay the same.
