A deep, winding track, full of twisted sonics and energetic percussion, ‘OOO’ showcases Branko’s talents for crafting uplifting dance-floor ready tracks, with an introspective edge. You may well have encountered Branko before without knowing it – either through the music he made with the widely adored collective Buraka Som Sistema, his production work for MIA or via his Enchufada label (through which he showcases via NTS Radio on the monthly ‘Enchufada Na Zona’ show). Having earned a reputation as a cultural agitator, the Lisbon-based producer is deeply woven into the fabric of contemporary Portuguese music scenes. ‘OOO’ primes listeners for a taste of what to expect from Branko’s forthcoming LP, due for release later this year. Showcasing the beauty of his home country, Branko has kept busy over the last 12 months filming DJ sets in stunning iconic locations around Portugal on his Youtube channel.
