The problem behind neck pain without injury is not actually in your neck. Your neck pain may be referred pain from something in your digestive system. Something you ate may be causing a problem in your gallbladder, the ducts that go to the gallbladder, or the ducts that extend over to the pancreas.  If there is a blockage, some type of sludge, or irritation in these ducts, it can put pressure on the diaphragm, which is connected to two nerves. These nerves are the phrenic nerves. These nerves go from your diaphragm up to either side of the neck. When there is pressure on the phrenic nerves, there can be pain and tightness on the right or left side of the neck.  Potential causes of referred neck pain: • You consumed too many omega-6 fatty acids  • You consumed too many nuts or nut butters • You consumed refined grains  • You consumed packaged foods  What you could do for neck pain without injury: • Take purified bile salts (on an empty stomach a few times a day) • Change your diet (do healthy keto and intermittent fasting)  Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting.
