Travel diary: BORNHOLM - the magical danish island. Let me show you some secret amazing places!

If you know anything about Denmark's landscape - it is that it's super flat and not so diverse. However there is a magical island not so far located in the Baltic Sea called Bornholm. It is part of Denmark but it is also a bit different. My opinion - much more colourful and interesting. It has amazing landscape, intense colourful sunsets, lovely animals, heart-stopping views and mind-blowing structures. The nature has carved wonderful sculptures in the cliffs. The water in the lakes makes your body relaxed and refreshed, the sounds of the birds and the animals during the night make your sleep so much different. Scandinavia's largest medieval fortification is located in the northern part of the island it dates back to 13th century - Hammershus - Valdemar II of Denmark's royal residence. It is just ruins now but giving breathtaking views of the island and the sea. Let's not forget the colourful streets of Rønne - the city which welcomes you from the ferry. Let's not forget the small port at Sandvig - that is where we caught one of the most intense sunsets ever. And also drank hot coffee. And if you are not afraid of heights - join us for a dizzying adventure climbing up the rocks of the Vang Granite Quarry. My friends, that is just a small part of the island and we couldn't explore all the hidden gems. But I promise you I will take you to another voyage - we will return there.
