This lutong-bahay recipe is a Filipino-style crab omelet served in its shell. Satisfy your cravings for crabs with this easy-to-make dish! Oh, don’t forget to use ketchup for your dip. Ingredients: 5-8 pcs. alimasag (crab meat and crab shell) Old Bay Seasoning rock salt peppercorns 2 Sprite Mismo (300 ml) water oil spring onions tomatoes garlic onions red bell pepper white pepper parsley egg flour Recipe: Step 1 - Prepping the crab 1. Season crabs with Old Bay, rock salt, and peppercorns. 2. Add 2 bottles of Sprite Mismo and water. 3. Boil crabs for about 10 to 15 minutes. 4. Let it cool. 5. Remove all the meat from the crabs. Set aside the crab meat and the top shells. Refrigerate. Step 2 - Prepare fillings Finely chop the spring onions, onions, red bell pepper, parsley, and tomatoes. Step 3 - Crab meat mixture 1. In a pan with oil, saute tomatoes, garlic, onions, and red bell pepper. 2. Stir in the crab meat. Season with salt, Old Bay, and white pepper. Mix. Then add spring onions and parsley. Step 4 - Stuffing the crab 1. Transfer the crab meat mixture into a bowl. Add an egg and flour to bind the ingredients. Mix well. 2. Stuff the crab mixture into the crab shells. Step 5 - Fry the stuffed crab shells for 3 minutes until they turn golden brown. This dish is good for plating! Let the cooking do the talking!
