These are some of the biggest changes in significance in Apex Legends history, not only does it bring the new legends New Castle with his Shielding passiv Retreive The Wounded, the Tactical Mobile Shield, and the Protective Ultimate Castle Wall, but ranked is getting a whole new overhaul, aiming to add integrity to the higher ranks it actually caters to Apex Legends pros quite a bit. Other than that Mastiff is going back into the crate just how it was back in the early days, Peacekeeper is being left as only shotgun on the ground except for the eva and mozambique, while being buffed at the same time. All the LMGs/Machine Guns are getting nerfed while Rampart is getting buffed. Fortified on legends like Gibraltar and Caustic no longer reduces headshot damage while helmets protect more than before, interestingly enough Kraber is also getting nerfed somewhat at the same time. Valkyrie mains should be careful of their ultimate being nerfed as you can no longer spin in circles while flying, making you an easier target to shoot. Shield cells and syringes spawn less now as well, so resources in higher tier ranked might be more scarce. Storm Point is also getting an update with a Monstrous area added, the washed-up sea creature known as the Downed Beast will become another POI on Storm Point, as well as IMC Armories that will have PvE elements against Spectres who will pose a challenge to the players for the loot that they protect.
