Me and my brother decided we wanted to take on The 3 Peaks Challenge on 20th July 2020 which consists of climbing The highest peaks in each region of the U.K. plus travel time between the three all in under 24 hours. 🏔 Ben Nevis Scotland & UK’s biggest mountain at 1344 meters. ⛰ Scafell Pike England’s biggest mountain at 978 meters ⛰ Snowdon Wales biggest mountain in Wales at 1085 meters. We completed the challenge in a time of 21hrs 49m Ben Nevis took: 3hrs 53min Scarfell pike took: 2hrs 22min Snowdon took: 3hrs 56min Such an unbelievable experience and I would 100% recommend taking it on if you are thinking about it. ► View Ranger Track https://my.viewranger.com/track/detai... The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles. A popular misconception is that the three mountains that form the challenge are the three tallest on the British mainland.
