It's still one of my favorite songs and the lyrics are great. It was quite easy to re-write into English because of that, so it was a joy to work on. It should be very easy to sing well in English, there aren't many difficult parts and I think it feel quite natural to sing as written. Also, I was able to get John to take a look at and approve the final translation.
