Fuse Lifeline Comics Lore Apex Legends Season 16 Here comes the opening Salvo of a much, much grander tale… via/PlayApex & VinegarAndSoda A comic-style illustration showing the planet of Salvo. Fuse and Lifeline approach he Cracked Talon's headquarters and are met with suspicious glances from onlookers. As they kick open the door they are met with hostility and weapons drawn. Fuse speaks to one of them, saying, "Good ta see ya, Mouth." but Mouth responds by firing a shot at him. The second page of the comic shows that the shot harmlessly bounces off Fuse's metal eye and a fight breaks out. Lifeline tries to diffuse the situation, "We just want info. Yuh old boss Maggie sent us!" but is unsuccessful. Eventually, she gives up and presses a button. We then cut to see something coming down through the atmosphere and landing near by. On the third page of the comic we can see that Lifeline's Care Package is what has landed. The Cracked Talons are seen surrendering as Fuse disarms them. Meanwhile, Lifeline has a chat with Mouth about why they came there. She heals him while asking him to give up a name, but Mouth refuses. He taunts her, saying she has to be more than "nice" in order to win. In retaliation, Lifeline takes away her DOC drone and stops healing the injured Mouth. He cries out in pain and Fuse appears shocked by what he sees. On the fourth and final page of the comic we can see Mouth finally giving up and telling Lifeline a name: Skudge. Lifeline resumes healing him, but Fuse is still disappointed in what he's seen. He leaves, but not before warning her: "You’re crossin’ lines there ain’t no comin’ back from, Che. I ain't gonna help ya cross anymore. I'm out." The scene then cuts to the inside of a prison cell where Mad Maggie can be seen leaning up against the wall. She's grinning as she greets Lifeline and the comic ends with her asking how her trip to Salvo went.
