Welcome to Kiran Kumar's Channel Roaring River Falls Trail, Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park, CA || Kiran Kumar Thank you for watching the video, please subscribe & support for more videos On the last day of our trip to Sequoia National Park, after seeing Boyden Cavern, we went to Grizzly Falls Picnic Area. Grizzly Falls is a 0.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a waterfall and after vising Grizzly Falls we made a stop at the Roaring River Falls, both the trails are good for all people with all skill levels. if you drive down Generals Highway through Kings Canyon Scenic Byway through Route 180 to the Cedar Grove Area of Kings Canyon National Park, after visiting Grizzly Falls Picnic Area, the 0.1 mile loop trail which is very short and easy. if you drive further for another 7.2 Miles, you should make a stop to visit Roaring River Falls. Roaring River Falls Trail is a 0.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Cedar Grove, California that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from May until September. Roaring River flows from Deadman and Cloud canyons deep in the parks' wilderness, then crashes down a narrow chute into a pool. The power and sound of the waterfall changes through the year, and is at its biggest and loudest in late spring and early summer. From here, you can also take a relaxing walk along the River Trail to Zumwalt Meadow. This walk is 3.9 miles round-trip in a lollipop shape at an easy, paved incline. The trail starts at the misty waterfall, then travels over creeks and through meadows and shady forests. Follow this short, shaded path to a powerful 40-foot waterfall. Look for the junction with the River Trail just a few feet away toward the parking area. Info: Its National Park Fee, better suggestion to buy America The Beautiful Annual Pass, as it will cover for all National Parks and National Forest Areas. I don't think there is a bathroom near picnic area however you can use one in Zumwalt meadow which is around 1 Mile from Roaring River Falls, however there are few picnic tables. Dogs are welcome and no permit is required to visit the waterfall or the picnic area.
