My own GOG Affiliate link for Fallout 3 + all DLCs on GOG store: https://adtr.co/zrDitk Every purchase helps out the channel! Full DLC/Expansion walkthrough of Point Look, the fourth DLC to come out for the Fallout 3, first released on June 23th 2009. Action takes place in a separate area, called Point Lookout State Park, in reality in Maryland, US. A place where no atomic bombs fell, but instead it became forgotten to the world. Played as usual on the highest/ultra details in 2560x1440p resolution, recorded in 1440p60. Done all the main quest here, plus all the subquests, amounting to 4 tasks. Thanks for reading the description, and watching my longplay! Do consider hitting that Like button and subscribing to the channel for all the earlier and the last F3 DLC to come, and for whole saga of Fallout: New Vegas and it's own DLCs! My own refflink for NordVPN, as I get a mighty 40% provision for every purchase made through it!: https://adtr.co/6hu6wy A swampy, islandy kind of DLC. Gave me some Staunton Island vibes when I was playing it. You know, swamps, rains, lighthouse, colonial manors, caves beneath the stone of Point Lookout, pretty atmospheric. And pretty hard to be honest, since the "natives", the Swampfolk, are brain-dead tribals, with absurd amounts of HP, and using standard human weapons. Now that I think about it, I've got no idea how the folk became mindless Swampfolk, since there were no atomic bombs dropped onto the island, so theoretically, all "altered" beings on the island, migrated there, were definitely not present while the known world busted in atomic shrooms. Desmond, the charming leading Ghoul, is apparently one of the two pre-war beings in the area, and apparently he came to be a ghoul... by controlled doses of radiation, in order to adapt to the new-found environments. Interesting stuff. Anyway, about the DLC, Fallout 3 was bound to received it's own island-y type of expansion, and so it did. Not very large, or filled with many things to do, but very charming, and lore-heavy, with the chinese infiltration angle. I'd say, so far, it is the best of all the Fallout 3 DLCs, topping The Pitt. New area, good atmosphere, no fetch quests, a lot of lore, interesting "siege" sequence, and of course new moral choices. Well, I don't think I have to recommend this DLC, if you are watching the longplay of it, you're probably very fond of Fallout 3, and wouldn't miss it anyway. :) My Fallout: New Vegas + DLCs playlist: • Fallout: New Vegas + All DLCs playlist My Fallout 3 + DLCs playlist: • Fallout 3 + All DLCs Longplays My complete walkthrough of TES IV: Oblivion (Main quest, all DLCs, all Factions): • TES IV: Oblivion series (main game + expan... Summary: Point Lookout takes place in the Fallout equivalent of Point Lookout State Park, a new swampland area with new quests and enemies. Point Lookout in the Fallout setting has a landscape between one-sixth and one-fifth the size of the Capital Wasteland where "the bombs didn't actually fall, but the world has left it behind". Like all add-ons (except for Broken Steel), Point Lookout is playable at any time during the main storyline; the player could travel there immediately after exiting Vault 101. Once the content is loaded, you receive a message on-screen that initially starts the quest The Local Flavor. As with previous add-ons, the main quest line is said to add about three to four hours' worth of game time.
