Michael Sarna and Tammy Maples Interview for Animal Family Films

LRM Online's Gig Patta chatted with director Michael Sarna and animal trainer Tammy Maples for a series of films under Animal Family Films. The three films include Jimmy's Jungle, Toby's Big Adventure, and Toby Goes to Camp. Jimmy's Jungle Jimmy is a 12 year-old boy who daydreams about being the world's greatest animal trainer. Unfortunately, after the loss of his father, his daydreams take over, and his school and personal life begin to suffer. That is until his mom sends him to live with his grandfather for the summer. Just when he thinks things have gone from bad to worse, he discovers an animal sanctuary next door, and a baby white lion. But when he learns that the sanctuary is about to be bought by an evil corporation that plans to use the animals for testing, he formulates a plan with his new found friends to stop the sale, and expose the company for what they're really doing. Toby's Big Adventure Toby's Big Adventure is the first in a brand new series of movies featuring Toby, a curious and rambunctious baby white tiger. After accidentally becoming separated from his human caretakers, Toby is joined begrudgingly by Lana, a crotchety old dog who whose best days are behind her. Together they embark on a journey through the wilderness. In order to find their way home, they will need the help of woodland creatures to escape a pack of hungry coyotes, and other lurking dangers. Along the way they learn the importance of teamwork, communication and that you can actually teach an old dog, and a baby tiger new tricks. Toby Goes to Camp One part animal adventure, one part human musical, and all parts fun. Toby Goes to Camp is the heartwarming follow up to Toby's Big Adventure. In his latest adventure, Toby is off to summer camp. Kids to play with, sailing, sports, singing, dancing, and camp fires, all of which sounds awesome to Toby, but a nightmare to Lana - Toby's crotchety Labrador guardian, who would prefer to just sleep and be left alone. But it won't be all fun and games as the duo have to contend with an evil land developer who is trying to steal the land from the camp. This time they are joined by a spunky little pig, a pair of ferrets, a fast talking raccoon, and a slow moving tortoise, who will all lend a paw to help Toby save the camp.
