Did you know, the fertilization of the egg by the sperm happens in the fallopian tube and then the fertilized egg moves towards the uterus for implantation. Blocked fallopian tubes are the reason for infertility in 10- 30 % cases. So, assessment of the fallopian tubes is an important part of fertility investigations.
