We use electrical devices every day so one of the biggest concerns is the level of EMFs generated. Often called electrosmog, or dirty electricity, EMFs are all around us, not just in the microwave or fridge but also near light switches or power outlets. It isn't easy to measure EMF correctly due to the electrical fields around your home and sometimes even your own body. To measure, you could use a cheap $20 device or an expensive $300 device. We're going to demonstrate it with both. Using the inexpensive device, let's test a HealthyLine mat for EMF in the area where you would lie down. Now, inside the mat, we have a heating wire that usually produces a high EMF field. However, HealthyLine uses a special double isolation so you can safely use this mat and enjoy just the health benefits. As you can see, the entire area where you lie on is free of EMF. It is possible to find a small amount of EMF where you connect the controller, but even just a few inches away from that you can see it's back to zero. There's always going to be a small amount of EMF on the controller itself, but even just a few inches away from that we're back to zero. It's absolutely safe to keep near the mat or near your bed. Now, let's measure EMF using the higher-end device. As you can see, the gauge starts at 3, which is the field for the room around us and even the field for your own body. An example of a high EMF field would be a hair dryer. Now, as you can see the reading for that was nearly off the charts. So now let's test it on the mat. As you can see, the gauge is at 3, so there's no EMF coming off of the mat itself. Let's bring it to where you connect the controller. We have a reading of about 15, and if you take it just an inch or two away, we're back to 3. Back to the controller itself, this has a reading of about 15 again, and just an inch or two away we're back to 3. So now we're going to test the EMF you might find on a common electric blanket that you can get at a big box store or a pharmacy. Using the same device, we're going to hold it over the blanket, turn it on, and as you can see the EMF is already going crazy! So now, let's measure exactly how much EMF is coming off of this blanket. And it's coming in at 30, and if you remember the HealthyLine mat has a reading of 3, which is the same as the room and your body, so essentially, it's at zero. Just a big difference. While this mat is common, it's not necessarily good for your health. INSTAGRAM @healthylineshop https://www.instagram.com/healthyline...
