Tony's House - I'll Be Creepin' (Free song)

This is a song by the British blues/rock group "Free." Free is probably best known for their 1970 hit song "All Right Now." This is my tribute to Free. I recorded it last summer (2022). I was fooling around with low-fi recording techniques, and this was recorded on a $40 mono looper pedal. The rhythm guitar and vocals were recorded together first, then the drums, bass, and lead parts were layered on top. It was digital, mono sound-on-sound recording - similar to how things were done before the advent of multi-track recording (except back then it was all analog). The "Naughty Boy" in the thumbnail is the headstock of the guitar I played on this. Its a jazz master type guitar with three P90 pickups. Naughty Boy makes some nice guitars... This is also my tribute to the early '70s DC band "Crank." Crank was a fantastic band which mostly played DC clubs, but also played RFK stadium alongside the likes of The Allman Brothers and Grand Funk Railroad. The first time I heard this song was at a club called "Emergency" on M Street in DC, and the band playing it was Crank.
