SNORKELLING AND DIVING Because Koh phi phi is such a small island there is soo much sea life around the island It is actually one of the best places to do diving, although it’s not the cheapest, if you’re not able to get to places like Koh lipe and Koh Tao then You should definitely do your open water diving certificate here . Snorkelling trips can be usually part of a boat hire or a tour booking to Koh phi phi. But if you would like to do diving you would need to make a specific booking for open water diving. 2. THE VIEW POINTS In Koh phi there is view point 1 2 and 3. If you’re staying in Koh phi phi is a nice day activity and the views from each View point are incredible It will take you 10 mins to hike up to view point 2 (30 Baht entry) and 30 mins to view point 3 (20Baht) the hike is very low in difficulty so anybody can do it. Just make sure you that you stay hydrated 3. KYAKING As there are loads of beaches around Koh phi phi a great idea is to rent a kayak and see as many of them as you can. Some are only 15 mins kayak away and some can be 45. We rented kayak for 400 baht (video on Arnold phone) 4. FIRE SHOWS AND SUNSETS AT THE BEACH Now now all around Southern Thailand there are fire shows, but other than the full moon party we personally did not see anything as wild as the fire shows in Koh phi phi. I was certain one was on fire at one point but it was clear his is just something he does everyday If you’ve had great weather you can catch some of the most amazing sunsets from the beach here 5. MAYA BAY The world renowned Maya Bay beach, made famous by the film “the beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. no matter what articles you look at on best beaches in the world, Maya bay will be in there. I know I said this is in no particular order but this is the number one thing to see in Koh phi phi. it does get incredibly busy so try to go early. Now this one is a pro and a con. the island is mainly visited by younger tourists which means there’s always a party. It will be easy for you to make friends here and the party does go on until the early hours of the morning and I do know that for some people, that’s not for you but the point is you have the choice. Some nights we partied until 4am in the morning and some we were in bed by 8:30 with a film One thing I will say is that if you like a quiet time try not to book something near the pier or the beaches 7. HIRING A PRIVATE LONG TAIL Now I don’t know about anyone else but before coming to Thailand I’d never rented out a little private boat. It just wasn’t in my budget. But here it’s affordable and it can be quite romantic for 2 of you or you can really cut the cost and have 4, 6 or 8 of you. There was 4 of us and we paid the equivalent of £22 each for 5 hours with a driver who knew exactly where we should go for that amount of time, he had a speaker snorkels masks and flippers so we could just stop where ever we wanted and just dive in This was one of my favourite days in Thailand
