Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu visits northern Gaza | ABS-CBN News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited northern Gaza on Tuesday (April 15) along with Israeli defense minister Israel Katz and military commanders. During the visit, Netanyahu received a security review from regional commanders on the military's efforts to free the hostages and defeat Hamas in Gaza, a statement from his office said. In a video statement on Tuesday, Netanyahu speaks from northern Gaza, holding a printed statement he says had been released on the same day by Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei reportedly explaining why Israel must be destroyed. "We are fighting for our existence," Netanyahu said, adding that Israel insists on defeating Hamas and releasing the remaining hostages.
