The introduction of an AoE cap to certain specs and classes in Shadowlands has largely gone unnoticed amidst all of the angst surrounding Covenants and their inherent design problems. The final straw for me was the capping of Faeline Stomp to five targets, which is not a good idea. At all. Ever. Putting hard caps on selected AoE abilities will diminish the fun factor for the affected DPS specs, will make tanking harder through threat and damage issues, and just create a new set of meta builds to replace the old. It will do nothing but make mythic+ in particular less enjoyable for all.
