Chordplay - The Chords Of Cream

Hey everybody! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of Cream. I've noticed a lot of requests to feature some of Cream's legendary music on the channel, along with requests for "more Clapton" lessons, and with the previous video that focused on Blues Saraceno when he was working with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker in 1989, I felt this was the perfect time to focus on where all that music came from, with Cream - so let's dive in! This lesson features a handful of chord-based and rhythm guitar ideas pulled from four classic Cream albums. This includes sections of songs such as Outside Woman Blues, Sleepy Time Time, Four Until Late, NSU, Sweet Wine, not to mention the shared progressions appearing in the songs Tales Of Brave Ulysses/White Room and also Strange Brew/Lawdy Mama, to name a few! We're also taking a brief look at Clapton's famous "woman tone" in this video. Needless to say, if you're a Cream/Eric Clapton fan, a player wanting to add some timeless chord-based and rhythm guitar parts to their bag of tricks, a guitarist wanting more insight into blues-rock guitar playing, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you!
