How to Make Helicopter Craft | Simple Kids Crafts

This DIY paper toy is very fun to play with! It works with a rubber band, that when twisted and released, makes our propeller go and fly our helicopter across the floor. ⭕ MATERIALS:⠀ - 2 paper cups - Coloured paper - Marker - Bead - Twist Tie - Paper straw - Scissors - Glue - Pencil - Rubber band - Skewer ⭕ INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Take one paper cup and cut it in half vertically. Take one of these halves and cut off the rim. Crease it in half, so your longest sides are touching. You should have a sort of tube shape. (2) With another paper cup, bottom side up, draw a large oval near the rim. Cut it out. Put your tube in this hole. It should look like a teapot, or watering can. (3) Decorate helicopter with coloured paper or markers. (4) On the top, pierce a hole in the centre. Loop the rubber band around itself to tie it to the centre of the skewer. Thread a bead onto the rubber band. (5) Thread the rubber band through the cup, so that the bead and skewer are on top, and the band is inside. Stretch the band, and using the twist tie, attach the band to the straw. (6) Attach your propeller blades.
