Bakhmut is the name of the city that is now heard all over the world, and a year ago even most Ukrainians had heard little about this city in Donetsk region. Since May, bloody and terrible battles have been going on for this settlement, the most elite units of the Russian army have been mobilized to storm the city, and some of the best units of the Ukrainian army have been mobilized to defend it. In the midst of a cold winter, Khashchi spent two days and one night in Bakhmut, we recorded today's events and, in our own style, made a small excursion into the history of the city, tried to understand why Bakhmut was so important in the past, is important in the present, and what awaits it in the future .
