In patch 11.1.5 there a cool feature you can use called cooldown manager which tracks your abilities and have a timer on it as well it's just like using addon called weakauras. You can also go to edit mode to change the size of it or just edit how you want it to be. To turn the cooldown manager on go to options and select advance options and check enable cooldown manager to turn it on and start using it. There another option you can use for anyone who is color blind called colors and you can change any color you want it be for common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary.
