6/10/19 - Yerevan-Khor Virap, Armenia - We went to Khor Virap using the local bus and learned about he important role this place played in Armenia’s history. As it was a Sunday we were also lucky enough to experience a service while visiting Khor Virap! We then went to see Mount Ararat from a lookout point and made our way down to walk to the main road to get a bus back to Yerevan. Here we were picked up by Arman, a friendly local, who took us in his car to a nearby town so we could get a bus. On the bus we made a new friend, Hovel, who spoke to us about Armenia and even wanted us to go with him and explore his country. If only we had more time! Our answer: YES! Armenia feels very safe!
