CNBC Today On NVIDIA Stock & Semiconductor Stocks - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), and semiconductor stocks on a day when the vast majority of semiconductor stocks finished the day higher. This should be an exciting couple of weeks for NVIDIA as NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will be visiting Europe. Jensen told us on NVIDIA's earnings call that there are many large-scale AI datacenter projects that have yet to be announced, and that many countries (including many European countries) are currently working on their own AI datacenter projects. Be on the lookout for positive announcements out of Europe over the next couple of weeks. Next week we have NVIDIA GTC Paris with a keynote from Jensen Huang scheduled for June 11 at 11:00am CEST (5:00am EDT, 2:00am PDT). Jensen told us on NVIDIA's earnings call that he will speak about quantum GPU computing during that keynote. NVIDIA has been working with quantum researchers for some time now, and NVIDIA announced a new quantum research facility in Boston back in March. Jensen also told us at Computex that he expects computers in the future will consist of CPUs, GPUs, and QPUs (quantum processing units). NVIDIA will play an important role in the future of quantum computing and I'm excited to hear what Jensen has to say on June 11. I'm especially optimistic about NVIDIA stock in the second half of this year. Blackwell Ultra should start ramping around the end of this quarter, Blackwell has ramped substantially (accounting for 70% of NVIDIA's datacenter revenue in Q1), margins should move back up to the mid-70% range, and if we get a reversal of the H20 restriction in China over the coming months that would be another massive positive for NVIDIA.
