So you want to make a difference! You are not alone. Ask 100 people if they want to make a difference during their time on this earth and 99% will say “yes”. But very few of these well-intentioned people know what they need to do to bring about the difference they want to make. So they die with regret and humanity is denied a solution to one of its many problems. How sad is that? It doesn’t have to be this way. Since 2013 I have spent 10,000+ hours supporting hundreds of credible authorities make a difference with their fresh ideas. This experience triggered the realization that the presence or absence of four drivers has a huge influence on whether an idea will fly or die. I now firmly believe this: if you harness the power of each of these drivers, you’ll stand an excellent chance of making the difference in the world that you want to make. These four drivers are: Your idea, Your ability to reach audiences, Your impact on those audiences that you reach, and Your resources. Each of the videos in this playlist dives into one of these drivers. By the end of this playlist you’ll be able to make a well-informed decision as to what to do with your idea and how to do it. Our journey began in 2018 when the first Get Inspired Talks event was held in Vancouver’s Convention Centre. Our second event takes place on October 19, 2019 in Vancouver’s Playhouse Theatre.
