It is very important to prevent lots of vertical scrolling on a page, as users will most likely not find the content at the bottom of the page. One way to mitigate the issue is by creating additional pages on your site. Tip # 2: Reduce the white space on the SharePoint page. By default, there is plenty of white space between web parts. Try to use the page space more efficiently. One way to mitigate this, is by switching to a three-column section. Tip # 3: Use Text Headings. If you have lots of text, make sure to organize chapters by Headings. Tip # 4: Use Page Anchors. If you do end up creating lots of text and content vertically, you can create a Table of Contents by using Page Anchors that would allow users to quickly jump to the right section of the page. Tip # 5: Add a Vertical Section. If you do want to add additional content to your site, you can also add a Vertical Section. It acts as a 4th column on a page Tip # 6: Do not embed lists and libraries on a SharePoint Page. There are many reasons why you would not want to embed lists and libraries on a page - they take lots of real estate and are not visually appealing on a page. Tip # 7: Disable Page Comments. Comments always appear at the bottom of the page and such conversations need to occur in Teams or Viva Engage. Tip # 8: Keep Site Navigation clean. If you have lots of links to share on a site, make sure you used sublinks option to organize them. Tip # 9: Hide Site Navigation if necessary. If your Communication Site is part of the Hub, its navigation might be confusing when it appears within the Hub and Hub Navigation. So hide it if need be. Tip # 10: Don't hide site navigation on Team Sites. In contrast, if you have a Team Site, do not hide Site Navigation. It contains a Recycle Bin, which is important for easy access and the ability to restore deleted files and folders. 👉 If you want to learn more on this topic, check out this video as well: • How SharePoint Permissions work (Best...
