Spreading Topsoil for a New Lawn | Building a Backyard Golf Course

The topsoil has arrived and it's time to spread the huge amount evenly across the entire backyard landscaping project. The topsoil is the most important material on our backyard golf course. The rich topsoil will give our new grass lawn all of the nutrients that it needs. The topsoil is spread with a tractor and a power rake on a skid steer is used to smooth the topsoil all over the golf course fairway and rough area. This topsoil came from a farm pasture where we collect some soil for a lawn soil test sample. The soil test results come back with a good results, showing high values of Organic Matter and CEC in the soil. We also finish framing the backyard golf course sand trap with a wooden form which will help stop the topsoil from entering the bunker.
