inZOI Is Here, And It's Pretty Good

It's no secret that Sims fans have craved an alternative. After all, as a franchise becomes little more than a cash cow without any hope for revolutionary new features, the desire for competition grows. inZOI, published by Krafton, may just be what they're looking for, though it's a bit too early to say for sure. Available on March 28th for Steam Early Access, the social sim involves creating your own ZOI or three, moving into a property together, and trying to make things work. You can take on a job or get an education, interact with the dozens of other ZOIs who live their lives independently, and much more. There's even an in-depth toolset for customizing your home and editing the city. The visual fidelity and sheer sense of freedom belie the average amount of content and the need for more optimization. Nevertheless, inZOI has something special, and we're intrigued to see how it grows through early access.
