Kpop Glossary, Vol 1: Engl(-ish?)

Kpop has its own vocabulary and I’m here to help break it down for you, starting with redefining some English words that mean something different in the context of Kpop. This will be part one of an ongoing Kpop glossary series, tentatively planned to contain at least five episodes. There’s a lot of ground to cover so be sure you subscribe if you want to be in the loop when future episodes post! I will also add links to them in this description as they go live over the next few months. Hi, welcome to @overthinkingkpop. My name is Amy and I make video essays about – you guessed it! – Kpop. My goal is to create informative and accessible content designed to both introduce new fans to Kpop as well as enhance existing stans’ appreciation via thoughtful analysis and recommendations.
