There are a few high-paying jobs everywhere, however, the corporate job reality is that these jobs are often not enough to make you rich. The annual salary growth might be great for a few senior executives, however, most people are not going to get a high salary in these corporate jobs. But being stuck in the middle class trap we often do not look beyond the immediate corporate job options available to us. Escaping rat race becomes are second priority once we start to believe that there are jobs that can make you rich or jobs that can make you a millionaire. Many YouTubers have covered the middle class trap. Such as the middle class trap by Sandeep Maheshwari or the middle class trap by Pushkarraj Thakur are a few examples of people who have exposed the middle class mindset in the past. However, still most Indians live with the assumption that focusing on studies, cracking difficult exams, getting into great colleges, and then working for corporates is the way for them to become rich. The reality of corporate career is quite different. The dark side of corporate world which many Indians want to ignore is that jobs that can make you rich are often very few and most people are not going to get them. This doesn’t mean there are no alternate methods for one to seek wealth. You can plan your career growth with more patience. Your career growth need not be like a company’s quarterly results report. Take it slow and start finding ways through which you can make more returns on your time or skill. Progressing through your career is important however it should not come at the cost of losing sleep over your career progress. On top of it, you can also start producing content, not for it to help you grow online, but to help you get some recognition and help you progress in your career more smoothly. Unless you are an influencer, you do not need to focus on the likes and views as such at least in the early part of your career. The IT job reality that we often ignore is that it is never going to give you enough growth in the future. This dark side of IT Jobs or the dark side of IT industry is often overlooked because of the sheer number of people who have no other source of income except for getting into IT companies like TCS WIpro or Infosys. If you have a good personal brand, then this situation may be changed. Middle class mindset may try to keep you from escaping rat race, however, you should always try to move beyond your regular 9-5 corporate job.
