Plot : Former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis is hiding from the Empire on Bracca, working as a ship scrapper. When the Empire discovers his Force abilities, he escapes with the help of Cere Junda and Greez Dritus. They embark on a mission to find an ancient Jedi Holocron hidden on the planet Bogano by Jedi Master Eno Cordova. Along the way, Cal befriends the droid BD-1 and encounters various challenges, including fighting against the Empire on Kashyyyk and Dathomir. Cal's journey leads him to confront his past, including his former friend turned Inquisitor, Trilla Suduri. He learns about betrayal, sacrifice, and the dark side's temptations. With the help of Cere, Greez, and new allies like Nightsister Merrin, Cal overcomes numerous obstacles to unlock the secrets of the Holocron. Ultimately, Cal faces Darth Vader himself on the Fortress Inquisitorius but narrowly escapes with his life. After realizing the danger the Holocron poses to Force-sensitive children, Cal destroys it, choosing to protect them rather than risking their lives by rebuilding the Jedi Order. The story is one of redemption, resilience, and the struggle against oppression, showcasing Cal's growth from a fugitive to a hero willing to sacrifice for the greater good.
