News broke last week that Baron Trump, Donald Trump's 18-year-old son. And there's a reason I'm emphasizing 18-year-old son. I'll get more to that in a moment. But last week it was revealed that the RNC had selected poor little Baron to be an at large delegate from the state of Florida at this coming summer's RNC convention. And shortly after this news was announced, Melania Trump's office didn't know she had an office, but apparently she does. Her office issued a statement saying, yeah, thanks, but no thanks. Not gonna happen. Barron will not actually be a delegate because as the office stated, quote, while Baron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments, prior commitments for the 18-year-old who graduates high school this week. Um, even though that, by the way, is the convention where his dad will officially be nominated as the Republican candidate for President Baron, apparently has better things to do, right? Like, sorry, dad. Uh, I've already got a, a, an outing on the calendar for that day. Oh, I so wish I could be there, but I just can't, you know, kind of giving Donald a taste of his own medicine for all the times. He's just abandoned Baron. But what's funny is that between the news that Baron was going to be a delegate, and the news that Melania Trump put the, uh, kibosh on that pretty quickly, something else very interesting happened. You see Donald Trump put out a video on truth social boasting about his son Baron being a delegate from the state of Florida where he didn't know his own son's age. In fact, Donald Trump said quote, he's pretty young. I will say he's 17, but if they can do that, I'm all for it. He's 17, Donald said, of his youngest child, 17 years old, except again, Barron Trump is actually 18 years old. He turned 18 in March. Now he, there are several reasons why that is such a big deal. And no, I do not believe that he misspoke because Donald Trump clearly said like, well, he's only 17, so you know, if they can do it, that'd be great. So he's acknowledging that 17 year olds are not allowed to vote. So he knows that he said 17 and he believes his son is 17 years old. First reason that's a big problem for Donald Trump is one, it shows he's not involved in his son's life at all. Turning 18 years old is not something that parents forget that that is a major milestone in life. 18, you're legally an adult. You're about to graduate high school and move on with the next big chapter of your life. And Trump didn't even know it happened for his own son. Second reason, this is such a big deal. Can you imagine what would happen if President Biden perhaps didn't know an important date regarding his own child? You don't have to imagine, because we know when that Robert, uh, her or, or yeah, the, her report came out and he said that, Hey, Biden didn't know the day that his own son died, or the year his own son died. We ended up having frigging congressional hearings about it, folks. Oh, Biden's so gone mentally. He doesn't know the year his son died.
