It became important to me to understand what is causing this, and what we can do about it. The world looks to Silicon Valley to see the future. New ideas from the valley have changed the way we live, work and play many times over. However the latest disruptive trend is not a new device or app, its an unwelcome state of mind: loneliness. As a resident of this area who has seen changes first-hand, I wanted to understand why this is happening, and what I can do about it. This short film will share what I learned by talking to the people experiencing this trend in real life.
